also, has anyone seen a pattern for a crocheted hat like this?  anyone know someone who would actually crochet it for her?  i really think they need a new one.

i may have a problem

i can't stop with the Jess Hutichson toys.  I was lucky enough to get a copy of "Unusual Toys for you to Knit and Enjoy" a while back. 

Snake and Mr. Spherey are on their way to their new home with a dear friend of mine.

as you can see, they're the best of friends.   i miss them a little.  bon voyage, snake and mr. spherey!

okay gang, i'm alive.  really.  i've been knitting a bit too. 
sorry for the long, unexplained absence.  things have been a little crazy here in the knitbrarian house, though in a good way.

i would like you to meet mr. spherey:

he's not as lopsided as he looks.  maybe he's already been hitting the sauce.....
and now i have to go and fetch a barking puppy before she wakes up the Husband.
